Ten months, and they are both crawling.
Orli has been crawling since late December, just over two months now. Zev started crawling last week, he just figured it out one day. Zev can point now as well and yesterday we think we saw him using the sign for "potty". Orli stands on her own often while she's holding a toy with both her hands. She likes to get up on one knee and clap her hands while she's crawling around her toys.
Both are very good at looking back at you and then abruptly facing forward and then they try to crawl as fast as they can away. Laughing the whole time.
The twins are starting to communicate to one another, they do this primarily through raspberries, Zev will start it off and Orli will respond, this goes back and forth for a little while.
They laugh hysterically at each other when they play together in the pack-n-play or crib. All Orli has to do is shake the toys hanging from the mobile and Zev has a fit of laughter. Then to get her to laugh, Zev will crawl over and rub top of his head on Orli's back or side and she'll laugh and laugh and even try to get away, only to pause so he catches up.
One thing that is funny is that Zev takes little tantrums, when you pick him up when he's involved in something he kicks his little feet in the air and cries. He screams really loud to get your attention, it is an ear piercing scream. Orli, when you pick her up and put her in the pack-n-play so you can go fetch something, she makes a really sad face, stops breathing and a few seconds go past, she takes her breath and belts out the most sad pitiful cry.

Pointing
(Orli looking into the bathtub plug knob)Zev and Orli are really starting to understand more of their world. They know when you say "Kitty" and they look around on the floors for the cats.
This week Orli began to point, we don't know if she's aware that she is pointing, but she will just put her little pointer finger out and put in the direction of mommy or the kitty. It was also a pretty interesting week watching how mobile she is. She can now hold on to the coffee table and transfer to your knee while still standing. She will also crawl up to you and stand up by holding on to your pants.
Zev does some pretty interesting screeches from his highchair. He can hit wavelengths that hurt your ears. He's also mastered the closed lipped smile, he's especially good at this when you are trying to get him to laugh so you can spoon a glob of food that he doesn't particularly like in his little mouth. A very smiley refusal. This week he has managed to scoot backward on his belly. It gets very frustrating for him because the object he wants is in front of him and he keeps pushing himself farther and farther from it. One night he went about 6 to 7 feet on his own on his belly. He can't quite pull himself up the way Orli is so mobile, but he tries and Orli will use him to climb if he gets in the way. They each have had some bumps this week, one of which daddy caught on camera of Zev as he lost his balance, he was fine but the "thud" was very loud.
This week the kids have been better at going to bed earlier. Around 9-10 as opposed to 10-12 before. We think it could be that we started dinner a lot earlier. They still get up a few times to cry, sometimes they can get right back to sleep.
Also this week they took their first big bath tub bath together. It was so cute, Zev loves a bath, he just slaps the water and kicks his legs while seated so that he scoots right across the tub, splashing and smiling. Orli was getting splashed in the face because of him and had to cough out some water. She was crawling around the tub while he was scooting. It was a two adult job.
Oh I almost forgot, yesterday we noticed a white nub on Orli's upper gum, she's getting her third tooth. This whole teething thing is new to us, we can't really differentiate between tired, hungry, wants the remote and you won't let them have it cranky baby from teething baby.
