In our family quest to get out more and enjoy our friends and their kids, we went to the New England Aquarium this weekend. We got there early, which is a good thing because it it less crowded. However it is really expensive and given the only free thing is the Harbor Seals out in the cold, um we paid admission. We went with some friends of ours and their two boys, their youngest is 1 month older than our twins and their oldest is almost 4 yrs old. The kids had fun seeing the fish, the really big fish, the penguins and the hands on tank (poor critters getting manhandled all day). We got there in time to see the guano getting washed off the penguin rocks, then the diver was in the big tank feeding the sharks, and then off to the open critter touch tank. Afterward we ran over to the North End for Galeria Umbertos and Mikes Pastry. Here are some photos.
Stay tuned for future adventures. And if you have any fun ideas please comment.
