Another sad day..

Just 6 weeks exactly after Grandma Val passed away, we have suffered another loss. The twins grandfather Mickey quietly lost his battle with lung cancer on Friday March 21 in the early morning. He will be missed.

He thought Orli was absolutely beautiful and was very proud of Zev and called him a "Sphinx" because Zev appeared to be quietly thinking and absorbing the world around him.

Mickey had a very unique and adventurous life, he loved culture, traveling to exotic places, he spoke Spanish and French fluently. During this illness we learned that when he was about 12 he sang in the the Met Children's Chorus and used the pay he received to buy the family's first TV set.
